Overview — What is a Trezor Hardware Wallet?

Trezor hardware wallets are compact USB devices that store cryptographic private keys offline. Unlike software wallets that keep keys on a connected computer or phone, Trezor signs transactions inside the device, preventing remote malware from stealing funds. Use the device together with the Trezor Suite app or the official web interface to view balances, construct transactions, and confirm on-device.

Private Key Protection: Keys never leave the device.
Recovery Seed: 12–24 word backup to restore wallets securely.
Open-source: Firmware and tools are openly auditable.
Wide Coin Support: Bitcoin, Ethereum, many altcoins and tokens.

How it integrates

For best UX, install Trezor Suite (desktop & web). Desktop browsers may require Trezor Bridge to allow secure USB communication. When performing a Trezor Login or signing a transaction, you will confirm the action physically on the device — ensuring users retain control.
